How Is A Bespoke Suit Made?

Fitting Phase 1

A lot of marking, free sewing and demarcations are done at this stage. You won’t have any buttonholes or pockets as of now. They’ll only be marked. At this point, you can even change the fabric of your suit. This stage is essential for you to decide the arrangement of details and the formation of your suit.
Fitting Phase 2.
This phase is usually the last phase for most tailors. During the second fittings round, the actual fabric will be used and cut into the shape of the spare one. The suit will almost be ready with minor tweaks to be made.
At this point, the fundamental structure or major alterations cannot be changed. It will be extensively time-taking as the tailor would have to start from square one. Hence, it’s important for you to communicate with your crafter and ensure that you both are on the same page.
